Your business's discretion is paramount. We are experts in confidential recruitment, ensuring your privacy is meticulously protected throughout the process. We never specifically promote your brand in public postings. The name of your business is only disclosed during introductory calls with prospective, pre-vetted candidates (whether actively sourced or applicants), and only with your explicit comfort and consent. For highly sensitive searches, we can conduct entirely confidential recruitment, revealing your business's name only after formal interviews and shortlisting for your final review.
We believe in transparent and flexible financial arrangements crafted to fit nearly any budget. Our services are typically structured as a percentage of the successful candidate's base salary, though we also offer competitive flat-rate options. Crucially, Cormack operates on a contingency-based model. This means there is absolutely NO CHARGE associated with our services until we successfully place a candidate in your desired role. We earn our fee when we deliver results.
We stand by our placements. Cormack Recruitment boasts an industry-leading retention rate; less than 1% of the exceptional talent we’ve placed since 2015 have departed or been terminated within their first year. While rare, we have a robust safety net: every search includes a minimum 3-month guarantee. Should a candidate resign or prove not to be the right overall fit within this period, you have the option of a 50% refund of your search fees, or we will happily conduct a one-time replacement search at no additional cost. Your investment is protected.

Cormack is a boutique Recruitment Firm, not a staffing agency. This means we partner with Clients who have specific needs for The People Who Power Their Revenue & Reputation. We then proactively match candidates from our exclusive Cormack Crew Talent Network to those precise opportunities.
We don't "go to market to find YOU a job"; rather, when our Clients have an open role, we seek the perfect match within our network to fill it.

Our core services for Candidates are absolutely FREE. It costs nothing to join Our Talent Network and work with us to secure a position. We even offer complimentary introductory calls with a Recruitment Expert to go through a general review and provide feedback on your current resume. However, should you require a completely new resume be crafted by one of our Recruitment Experts, a service fee will apply, varying based on the scope of work.
At Cormack, your privacy is paramount, and your information is used exclusively to facilitate your job search and connect you with relevant opportunities. You will never receive unsolicited correspondence unrelated to your career journey with us.
We also offer "The Shortlist," an exclusive program for Our Talent Network that confidentially promotes anonymized profiles (experience highlights only, no names) to our Employer Partner group. Absolutely, but NEVER without your explicit permission first. Our Recruitment Experts always prioritize your privacy and career goals. If we identify a potential match where your skills could truly benefit one of our Employer Partners, we will always contact you directly to discuss the opportunity and gain your express consent before sharing any of your information.
Your profile will remain an active part of Our Talent Network until you instruct us otherwise. Should you wish to be removed from The Cormack Crew, simply email us at info@cormackrecruitment.com and we will confirm the removal of your profile promptly
Currently, Cormack is exclusively licensed for domestic recruitment across Canada. To be eligible for consideration by our Employer Partners, job seekers must hold Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Resident status, or an Open Canadian Work Permit.

If you look at our Client roster, you'll notice that we have worked with large corporations and small businesses, but the one thing that the vast majority of them have in common is their approach to doing business. We pride ourselves on partnering with ethically run businesses that offer exceptional customer service and/or deliver high-quality products.
We absolutely LOVE working directly with Canadian Entrepreneurs to help them scale their businesses and discover the right roles to hire at the right times, then going to market to find them the perfect match.
Absolutely! At Cormack, your privacy is paramount. That's why we don't specifically promote your brand in our job postings. We only disclose the name of your business during our introductory calls with prospective candidates we have either sourced directly or those who have applied, if you are comfortable with us doing so. We are also able to conduct completely confidential recruitment, where we don't share the name of the business with prospective candidates until we have conducted a formal interview for the role and shortlisted them for submission to you.
Our incredibly flexible rates and payment plans are designed to fit into nearly any budget. Typically, we charge a percentage of the successful candidate's base salary, but we also offer competitive flat rates for our services. Regardless of the fee structure we land on, Cormack is a contingency-based agency, meaning there is absolutely NO CHARGE associated with our services until we actually place a candidate in role for you..

The short answer to this question is YES, but the real answer is a bit more complex.
Cormack is NOT a Staffing Agency; we are a Recruitment Firm. The difference between the two is that Staffing Agencies do mostly temporary work and will be able to find you a job often in relatively short order, depending on your skill set. A Recruitment Firm (that's us) has a roster of Cllients that have specific needs, and we then go to market to find Candidates to fill those needs. That obviously requires that we have a pool of Candidates to reach out to, but we don't go to market to find YOU a job; we have a job that we go to market to find Candidates to fill.

We offer complimentary introductory calls with General Applicants, as well as a general review and feedback on your current resume. If you wish to have a new resume written by one of our Recruitment Experts, there is a fee associated with this service, which varies depending on the scope of the work.
No. At Cormack, we value your privacy and will never send you any sort of correspondence that doesn't relate to securing a job.

Yes, on occasion, but NEVER without expressly getting your permission to do so first. If one of our Recruitment Experts comes across a position that they think may potentially be a fit for you, they will always reach out to discuss it with you first before sending your resume through.
Your information will remain active within our database until you let us know otherwise. If, at any time, you wish to be removed from the Cormack Recruitment database, simply email us at info@cormackrecruitment.com, and we will send you confirmation of the removal of your profile as soon as it has been completed.
