The short answer to this question is YES, but the real answer is a bit more complex.

Cormack is NOT a Staffing Agency; we are a Recruitment Firm. The difference between the two is that Staffing Agencies do mostly temporary work and will be able to find you a job often in relatively short order, depending on your skill set. A Recruitment Firm (that's us) has a roster of Cllients that have specific needs, and we then go to market to find Candidates to fill those needs. That obviously requires that we have a pool of Candidates to reach out to, but we don't go to market to find YOU a job; we have a job that we go to market to find Candidates to fill.

It is absolutely FREE to register with Cormack and work with us to secure a position. We offer complimentary introductory calls with General Applicants, as well as a general review and feedback on your current resume. If you wish to have a new resume written by one of our Recruitment Experts, there is a fee associated with this service, which varies depending on the scope of the work.

No. At Cormack, we value your privacy and will never send you any sort of correspondence that doesn't relate to securing a job.

We do have a program at Cormack called "The Shortlist," which promotes your profile confidentially on our social media platforms (no mention of your name, just a highlight of your experience). This program is FREE to participate in, but spaces are limited. If you are interested in joining The Shortlist, please email us at info@cormackrecruitment.com

Yes, on occasion, but NEVER without expressly getting your permission to do so first. If one of our Recruitment Experts comes across a position that they think may potentially be a fit for you, they will always reach out to discuss it with you first before sending your resume through.

Your information will remain active within our database until you let us know otherwise. If, at any time, you wish to be removed from the Cormack Recruitment database, simply email us at info@cormackrecruitment.com, and we will send you confirmation of the removal of your profile as soon as it has been completed.

Unfortunately, Cormack is only licensed to facilitate recruitment domestically across Canada.  Therefore, to be considered for employment with any of our Employer Partners, Job Seekers must be Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents or already in possession of an Open Canadian Work Permit
