Cormack Recruitment was born in May of 2015 in beautiful British Columbia. Our Founder, Annabelle Cormack started the company with the intent to create a truly unique recruitment experience for all involved. Over the years, Cormack has developed a reputation for providing a more attentive, flexible and personalized level of service to support Employers and Candidates alike throughout the entire Employee lifecycle, not just the Recruitment Process.
In May 2022, as we celebrated 7 years in business, Cormack Recruitment became simply Cormack – your Talent Acquisition & HR Experts. We are proud to continue our tradition of providing exemplary service, now in all aspects of

After a progressive career in both corporate and agency recruitment, Amanda joined Cormack in its infancy as Lead Recruiter in 2016. Nearly 5 years later, Amanda transitioned to her current role as President & Recruitment Expert in late 2020 when she purchased the business from her friend and mentor, Annabelle Cormack.
Since then, Amanda has continued to operate Cormack under the original four pillars of integrity, flexibility, quality and partnership in collaboration with her growing team. With an emphasis on continuing to deliver a more personal approach to the full cycle recruitment process, Amanda still enjoys actively working with Clients and Candidates alike whenever possible. Together with her team, Amanda strives to be an active presence in the community, trying to find ways to give back through Cormack whenever possible. Whether it’s promoting a local small business, organizing a charity drive or simply going the extra mile to help a Job Seeker put together their best possible resume, Amanda is committed to building Cormack into a brand that you can trust.
With more than a decade of progressive HR and Recruitment experience, Sabrina joined Cormack as a Business Development and Recruitment Expert in October 2020. Soon after, Sabrina proved to be a significant asset on the Recruitment side of the business, showcasing her incredible dedication to both the Candidate and Client experience. As a result of this exceptional performance, in August 2021, Sabrina was officially promoted to Lead Recruiter at Cormack.
Today, Sabrina continues to provide a stellar level of service to Candidates and Clients alike while mentoring our team of Recruiters to do the same. Sabrina works tirelessly to understand the dynamics and little details of each role she recruits for to ensure she finds the ultimate fit for both sides. This attention to detail and commitment to service has allowed Sabrina to successfully recruit in the areas of Automotive, Insurance, Hospitality, Luxury Retail and Marketing, just to name a few.
Bubita received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources from Mount Royal University in 2021 and joined Cormack shortly thereafter as our Recruitment Assistant while she honed her personal Recruitment skills. After a year of exceptional support as our Recruitment Assistant, a wedding and a relocation from Calgary to beautiful British Columbia, Bubita was officially promoted into an HR & Recruitment Expert full time in late 2022.
Today, Bubita works a blended desk of HR Consulting and Recruitment where she is available to support our Clients in the full life cycle of the Employee. Her wealth of HR knowledge combined with her bubbly, customer-centric personality have proven Bubita to be not only an asset to our team at Cormack, but to the Clients and Candidates she serves as well.
Throughout his career, Jason has worked in a wide variety of industries and positions, each more different than the last. As diverse as his resume may be, Jason will be the first to tell you that there was a common goal in each of those experiences - learn the ins and outs of WHY and HOW the business runs and from there, identify the best possible way and WHO to market it to. But above and beyond all else, Jason has always been a hard working, ethical person looking for like-minded people to do business with and help them excel at what they love to do.
Jason officially joined Cormack in June of 2022 as our Recruitment Assistant. Although he had no practical experience in HR, Jason's love of people and proven background of providing exceptional customer service made him a natural fit for our team. After just a few short months in role, Jason was able to understand the dynamics of our business as well as our Candidate and Client base and ultimately began making recommendations for improvement to support the continued growth of Cormack. In late 2022, Jason officially moved into his current role of Communications & Efficiency Expert. Today, Jason is responsible for the overall strategy of the social media and marketing at Cormack, the management of our new ATS system and providing mentorship to the team on how to streamline operations and communications as a brand so we can take our service to the next level.
With a love of all things creative, Kelela's passion for graphic design and video editing actually started out as a hobby when she created her own YouTube Channel in 2015. Over the course of the next 7 years, Kelela would immerse herself in online tutorials and take on a variety of contract positions to hone her skills, all while working as a freelance Make-Up Artist in the Film industry.
When she felt confident enough to make the leap into Marketing full-time, Kelela officially joined Cormack as our Marketing Specialist in October 2022. Today, under the strategic guidance of our Communications Expert, Jason Brown, Kelela manages the content creation and curation for all our social media platforms. Her creativity and dedication to both the education and engagement of our followers have made Kelela a welcome addition to our team.
Bringing more than 25 years of progressive HR experience, Cathy joined Cormack in October 2022 as our newest part-time Recruitment Assistant based in Toronto, ON. She has since moved into the new role of HR Operations Specialist and continues to support our Recruitment team in an Operational capacity.
Cathy supports our Recruitment Team in all things operational; from Standard Operating Procedure development, to process mapping, to software integration. In addition, she provides HR consulting support for our Clients here at Cormack. Her attention to detail combined with her natural people skills have proven Cathy to be a valuable addition to Team Cormack!
Following the completion of an impressive educational portfolio that included a BA Honours English degree from the University of Guelph as well as certificates in Technical and Business Writing, Samantha originally joined Cormack in July 2021 as our Communications Expert. Here, Samantha put her exceptional writing and editing skills to work as the author of our branded newsletter and took full ownership of our social media channels on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
After building a solid foundation for our social media at Cormack, Samantha transitioned to her current role as Recruitment Assistant in January 2023. Here, Samantha supports our Recruitment team in the completion of candidate Reference Checks & Placement follow up as well as the creation of job postings and management of our corporate Indeed account.
Over time, Samantha’s attention to detail, organization and exceptional communication skills have made her a great asset, not only to our internal team, but our candidates and clients as well.
